Swing Kinematics 101
The Golf swing can be broken down using the latest technology in golf biomechanics called the K-Vest. Each line represents specific segments of the body and how they move throughout the swing. The red line (pelvis), the green line (torso), and blue line (lead hand / club) all captured using sensor technology throughout the swing. There are many ways to swing a golf club and not one way is correct, however efficient golfers all move in the same sequence of movement. (An example of an efficient golfer can be seen in the graph above). Accuracy, control, distance, and power are all key elements of an efficient swing sequence.
